Encouraging equal opportunities for young people
Gender inequality often begins at a young age, with girls and young women facing unique obstacles in education, leadership, and social freedom. These disparities limit the growth of society as a whole and prevent young people from achieving their dreams. UN Women works to dismantle these barriers by promoting equal participation in all sectors and empowering the next generation of female leaders. True progress is only possible when every young person has the same seat at the table and the same opportunity to succeed.
