Go to “Apply” section on this website. Apply for your desired position at the conference. Fill the questions with correct information at related Google Form. Agree upon the given terms in the Google Form. Submitt your form. Now you are applied for BAUMUN’26. However to conclude your application and be able to attend the conference you need to follow more steps.
After your application you will receive an e-mail to your provided e-mail account which states that your application is received. Once your application is received, the Secretariat will evaluate your application. When the evaluation process is completed you will receive either an acceptance or rejection e-mail. If you got approved now you must complete your payment within 5 business days. After the completion of your payment you will receive a confirmation mail!
There are three key steps: First is to research your country (policies, allies). Second is to research the agenda items (affected groups, previous UN actions). Third is to write a position paper to articulate your country’s stance concretely.
A position paper is the document which states your country’s or representation’s standpoint at a given agenda item. The chairboard will decide whether the delegate will submit a position paper or not and will let you know when the date gets closer.
Yes, you have to deliver a speech at least once during the conference. This speech is called an opening speech and is delivered at the first formal session.
During the first official session’s General Speaker’s List, you will have the floor according to alphabetical order. You will greet the chairboard and the committee and then state your point. Once you conclude, you yield the floor to the chairboard.
Formal dress code is Western Business Attire. For men, a suit and tie; for women, a variation of a blazer with dress pants or a knee-length skirt, paired with a blouse or dress shirt.
You have to bring the Code of Conduct and if you are under 18 you must also bring a Muvaffakatname in order to attend the conference.
